Our professional and highly trained staff consists of licensed funeral directors and embalmers, crematory operators, office managers, family service counselors and maintenance personnel. We are trained to handle all ethnic and religious services and can assist you with any special request you might have to make your service as meaningful as possible.
Dan Briceland

A native of Columbiana, Ohio, Dan graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1990 after completing pre-requisite studies from both Youngstown State University & Kent State University, Salem Branch. He served his apprenticeship with Cassaday-Turkle-Christian F.H., Alliance, Ohio, before coming to the Madasz Funeral Home, Brookfield in 1995. He is a licensed funeral director & embalmer, a life & health insurance agent, and he also has his certification as a cremationist. Dan is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Assoc., National Funeral Directors Assoc., International Order of the Golden Rule, Tri-County Funeral Directors Assoc., Cremation Assoc of North America, and the Brookfield Club of Rotary International.
Dan is married to the former Kristin M. Pinkerton, and he has two children; a daughter, Shilah, and a son, Eli. In their spare time, Dan and his family enjoy traveling, swimming, family cookouts, & sports. |

Bill Nicholas

Prior to graduating from Niles McKinley High School in 1998, Bill began his career in the funeral industry at the age of 13 working for a local funeral home in his community. While attending The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science he worked for the 5th largest funeral Home in Pittsburgh. He graduated with a diploma in Mortuary Science in September 1999, an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Management in May of 2000, and a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Specialized Business from Point Park College in May of 2001.
In January of 2003, he married the former Beth Dickey. They reside in Brookfield with their 2 Labrador Retrievers and a cat. He's a member of the Brookfield Rotary Club International, and The Jerusalem Hartford Lodge No. 19 Free and Accepted Masons. Bill enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife and family. |
